  • Data Cabling Technician

    Our client, a leading Electrical and Telecommunications company, pride themselves on supplying and installing the latest in connectivity technologies around the Christchurch region. Due to ongoing growth, they are looking for an expert Data Cabling Technician to join their company.

    Coming from a technical hands on background, you will have experience working on both large and small scale projects, and have a sharp eye for detail leaving nothing left half done. Being very technically minded, you will be well versed installing data cabling, cable pulling, termination & testing of data systems, and always looking of efficient ways to carry out your work.

    To be considered for this role you will need to have:

    • Relevant qualification
    • Minimum of two years’ relevant experience
    • Sound technical knowledge and ability
    • Great problem-solving skills
    • A great work attitude and be a team player
    • Excellent health and safety practices

    Both qualified and experienced Data Technician’s are encouraged to apply, with qualifications from this trade being well respected. Your flexibility to work occasionally out of town, as well as being open to working nights, will see you well remunerated (also require current Site Safe and Elevated Work Platform).

    This role is a temporary position with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

    Our client, one of New Zealand’s leading suppliers of glass in the construction industry is looking for an experienced industrial electrician to join their team.

    To be considered for the role, you will be a passionate and driven candidate with exceptional problem solving skills and the ability to apply your technical expertise to ensure the continuous improvement of production machinery, processes and procedures.

    The Role:

    • Work as part of a team to carry out plant and machinery maintenance
    • Resolve breakdowns using your previous experience in diagnosing faults
    • Liaise with management to implement new projects and installations
    • Work in a fast-paced environment in the Christchurch manufacturing plant
    • Work flexible hours and overtime when required

    Technical Requirements:

    • Have relevant trade certification
    • Hold a current electrical licence
    • Have prior experience and ability to work on installed 3 phase gear
    • Proven experience in fault diagnostics and problem resolution
