    Our client needs a Project Manager who has experience in maintaining primary responsibility and overseeing the building of large construction projects such concrete structures, bridges, pipelaying, reservoir pumps, with mechanical & electrical aspects. This will be a very client focused role and you will need to be able to see opportunities for business development.

    As well as being involved in the areas of pre-planning, budgeting, resource allocation, contract negotiation and worker coordination, we are looking for someone who has supervised construction site personnel, subcontractors and monitored compliance with building and safety code regulations.

    As the successful applicant you will need to ensure the timely and cost-efficient completion of construction projects while performing a variety of core tasks such as planning processes of construction projects, reviewing land surveys, assess project estimations and budgets, inspect existing structures, create design plans, review potential safety issues and oversee construction personnel by managing on-site construction crews.

    Some of your other responsibilities will be negotiating the contracts of subcontractors, communicating with inspectors and architects, meeting with construction managers, coordinating the delivery of materials with vendors, preparing progress reports that focus on project progress, job statuses, costs and attend meetings weekly or biweekly to present your progress and information to your superiors.

    Overall our next Civil Project Manager will need to possess strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills, have good time-management, be creative, have supervisory skills second to none, be detail-oriented with strong math skills, display above-average decision-making and problem-solving and the ability to multi-tasking.
